Angel Fund… “Turkey Fever”
Thanksgiving is always a dangerous time for pets. The extra rich foods and gravy cause many different illnesses in pets. Little Angel, and 8 year old Corgi Mix and her parents greatly appreciated Angel fund helping her to receive treatment because after two days of vomiting and diarrhea she felt terrible. Turns out she had a case of pancreatitis which resolved with treatment.
Thank you to Gunness Stuart Landscaping and our wonderful volunteer Georganne for landscaping the front of the HBPets Spay/Neuter Clinic. We appreciate our beautiful new front yard and can now hold our head up high alongside our neighbors!
Linda volunteers at the Spay/Neuter Clinic
“I have known Dr. Jenn for many many years. She has been treating my wayward animals with some very difficult issues. When she said she was leaving the practice in Sheridan to open HBPets Spay and Neuter Clinic I told her to holler if she ever needed help; to give me a call. So of course, she did!We all have a true love for animals and work so well together. At our house, we have never turned down an animal in need of a home. We currently have 3 horses (1 rescue), 6 goats (2 rescues), 1 llama, 5 dogs (2 rescues), and 6 cats (all rescues).
I retired just a few years ago after spending 35 years in Corrections. I wanted to give back to the community. I feel so lucky to do this while working with my favorite people and animals. Angel (above) is proof that a little kindness goes a long way, she adopted me in December, when she was sent to the Spay/Neuter Clinic from the HBPets Shelter. Life will never be the same with out her. I have met some amazing people here at the clinic, it is an honor to be part of the team.” — Linda
“When Linda recovered Angel after surgery the kitten wrapped its paws around her arm and would not let go. We knew that kitten would not make it back to the Shelter. Linda keeps us laughing and makes the day go by much faster. We are lucky to have her!” – Dr. Jennifer
