Adoption alone cannot solve the current cat overpopulation problem in our community. By focusing on accessible low-cost spay/neuter, we can significantly reduce the number of unwanted animals, giving each cat an opportunity to find a forever home, to live a happy and healthy life!
From February 2011 through January 2016, we have spayed and neutered over 4,100 cats and kittens!
We ask for a minimal fee of $30., but always honor our motto, ‘No Cat Turned Away!’ Additional veterinary services are available at low cost on the day of surgery.
Our Homeward Bound Pets Cat Spay/Neuter Program conducts a monthly clinic in which cats are transported by us to Village at Main Street Animal Hospital in Wilsonville. Individual appointments during the month are also available at numerous locations. Our program targets low-income individuals and families.

“We got all 5 cats fixed today! No cat was left behind. Thank you soooo much for all your help and on such short notice. I am so grateful to Homeward Bound Pets and to Petco and to all the people involved. You are our heroes! God bless you for the funding most of all. Now, no more multiplying kitties!”
“Mitten is a 4 year old male Manx cat. When he was a kitten, we rescued him from our street. Neighbor cat had babies and he showed up at our door. With the help of the Homeward Bound Pets Spay/Neuter Program, we got the mama kitty and all 3 kittens spayed and neutered. Without the help of you and your angels, we couldn’t pay this wonderful gift forward. Mitten has been a great joy to our family ever since.”
